Born in Portugal, Inês Santos Silva is a 22-year-old entrepreneur with two passions in life: entrepreneurship and education. This led her to organize Startup Weekends, Ignite events, TEDx events and others. In April 2011, she launched her own project, Startup Pirates, an acceleration program for entrepreneurs in the making that aims to help lead entrepreneurial communities to growth.
Inês was a part of the Sandbox Global team in Zurich and was key to the success of our Sandbox Global Summit in Lisbon.
Today, she’s the Chief Pirate Officer at Startup Pirates and has expanded her “pirate network” to 10 countries across 4 continents.
