If you have a tech startup, here’s your chance to hit the ground running with Lisbon Challenge. We’re the most international startup accelerator in Europe, with 3 startups at YCombinator and 7 at Seedcamp. Increase your growth by 270% and apply to Lisbon Challenge until the 31st of January. Oh and just a heads up, no equity is taken.
“Lisbon Challenge can become the European YCombinator” Michael Seibel from YCombinator
The Spring’15 edition will take place from March 27 - June 30 and we’ll have more than 200 mentors, 150k in perks and awesome events (during the Fall Edition we’ve had YCombinator Day and Mini Seedcamp in Lisbon). You’ll get top insights and feedback from leading entrepreneurs, like Michael Seibel from YC, Carlos Espinal from Seedcamp, Alex Czarnecki from Uber and Cliff Reeves from Microsoft Ventures, who were here for the last edition (check out the full list of mentors). By the end of the program you’ll pitch at #LISbon Investment Summit to Europe’s top investors, VCs and Business Angels, and connect with key tech players who can help you take your business to the next level. The best startup from Lisbon Challenge may also close an investment deal with our partner Caixa Capital. Plus, the top startups can also join the International Roadshow in the summer to meet world growing startups, companies and investors in the US, London and Tel Aviv (check out what we’ve done in the past).
The accelerator will take place in Lisbon, which has a booming tech startup scene, at Beta-i’s new office in the city centre. You’ll get a 24/7 working space and you’ll be working closely with other startups and Beta-i’s team in order to achieve your goals at the end of the program. We’ll be here for you, no matter what, to challenge you and push you to the limit.

MEET OUR ALUMNI
In previous editions we’ve had amazing startups who have really taken their ideas forward. In 2 years we’ve helped 130 startups who have raised more than 30 million euros. Check out the following success stories and maybe next time it will be your turn:
Uniplaces, the student accommodation platform, which is now one of the top Portuguese startups, has participated in the 1st edition of Lisbon Challenge. They have raised up until now 5 million dollars from both Portuguese and international investors such as Octopus Investments from the UK. When they started Lisbon Challenge they were only in Lisbon and now they have expanded their operations to 3 other countries and 7 different cities. Recently they also got featured in Tech Crunch.
Impraise, a web and mobile app for real time feedback at work, was part of Lisbon Challenge in 2013. They’re a German startup and one the co-founders, the CTO, is Portuguese (in Lisbon you’ll find top IT talent, so if you’re looking for developers this is the place to be). After Lisbon Challenge they joined YCombinator, which is probably any entrepreneur’s dream.
Zercatto, an investment platform allowing investors to follow the best in the Financial Markets and share their profitability, is another great example at Lisbon Challenge. At Lisbon Challenge they were able to network and develop their concept and idea. They joined Seedcamp later on and got invested!
Orankl, a platform that creates a review system to redefine product acquisition, is also part of Lisbon Challenge’s alumni. They got featured in Tech Crunch and they’re another Lisbon Challenge startup to have. Their HQ is now in San Francisco.
