Are you an Entrepreneur considering international expansion? Come to the UK!
Join us for the GREAT Entrepreneurs Roadshow in Lisbon, taking place on Thursday, 27th March at Central Station
(Edifício Central Station - R. da Moeda, nº6), organised by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in partnership with Beta-I.
UKTI’s Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) specifically focuses on helping entrepreneurs scale their business globally using UK headquarters as a springboard. Since the inception of the programme in 2004 it has had over 350 global successes (i.e. entrepreneurs and companies expanding and relocating in the UK) and more than 250 businesses have landed in the UK in the last 4 years.
Who is GEP for?
The GEP seeks to enable Entrepreneurs and early stage technology companies from a very broad range of technologies such as e-health, financial tech, software, nanotechnology, cyber-security, healthcare, digital media, wireless, advanced engineering and renewable from all over the world to globalise their businesses from a UK hub.
Our GEP companies have also raised over £1bn of equity investment since 2004 and created over 2000 high value jobs.
How can the GEP help?
It offers a bespoke service that provides the insight, trusted networks and experience of our internationally successful entrepreneurs to help companies expand into global markets.
Take a look at the video from the 2012 edition of the GEP. See real-life experiences from companies which attended the Global Entrepreneur Programme London 2012. See how they got a deal maker and the insight that a dealer maker was able to give them by showing them how they can accelerate the progress of their business.
Discover why doing business in the UK is a great opportunity by listening to Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group and ambassador for the GREAT Britain campaign. He tells us what he thinks about doing business in the UK.
Join us on the 27 March - You will also get the opportunity to be mentored by world class entrepreneurs and find out why the UK is a GREAT location for innovative businesses.
Our goal is to make your business even more successful - we look forward to seeing you at the GREAT Entrepreneurs Roadshow on the 27 March 2014 and explore further your entrepreneur potential!
