Diogo Teixeira studied Communications’ and Culture with a particular interest in Branding. He started his professional career as a journalist for the Portugal Public TV Network. He then moved on and joined the Euronews tv broadcaster in France. After a period of time Diogo was invited to join the organisation of the Euro 2004, the European Soccer Championship held in Portugal, managing the competition internet presence.
After this experience he assumes functions of general-manager of Sitebysite, a communication agency, focused on new media. He then joins Brandia Central, as a Senior Brand Strategist. He has worked for brands such as UEFA, RTP, HP, COFIDIS, Vodafone, Pingo Doce, OK Teleseguro, Brisa. One of his main interest is the application of sustainability and innovation factors into brands’ strategy. In November 2009 he founded, Couture, Decode and Disrupt, a consumer behaviour and inovation Think tank.
He is also founder and Partner of Billy the Group, a start up accelerator that creates, develop or invest in new companies that are creative, innovative and disruptive. He is also a regular speaker at several conferences and invited teacher at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
