Eduardo Piedade joined Sonae in 2001 and is currently the Investment Management Director being involved in Sonae E.Ventures since the project creation.
Eduardo has more than 11 years of work experience at Sonae, joining the retail division with responsibilities ranging from budget and business planning, new investments evaluation, M&A and financial modeling. Later, Eduardo moved to Sonae holding where he participated in the in-depth revision of Sonae’s corporate strategy and coordinated the Intelligence Unit team covering sector, peer and competitor analysis. Afterwards, Eduardo joined the Investment Management team supporting the implementation of the shareholder and business strategy on IM companies and planning and executing corporate and core businesses M&A. Eduardo is also a Non-executive Board Member of the IM companies.
Eduardo holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School and degree in Business Administration from Faculdade de Economia do Porto.
