Teleperformance
João Cardoso was one of the founders and is currently a minority owner and Managing Director of Teleperformance Portugal. For the past 11 years, João has served as CEO and the Company has grown organically from 280 to 4.400 employees. João was also Head of Innovation for Group Teleperformance wordwide as well as CEO for Teleperformance Spain.
Before Teleperformance, João was one of the founders of Easyphone and Altitude Software (a global leader in Contact Center software solutions) where he has taken several leading roles in R&D as well as member of the Board of Directors and member of the Executive Management Team as EVP Global Marketing and Strategy worldwide. João was also the IPO coordinator for Altitude Software.
João was one of the founders of the Portuguese Contact Center Association (APCC) and President of the Association from 2004 to 2007. By the end of his tenure, the Association represented 70% of the total Contact Center capacity installed in Portugal.
João holds a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA, both from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
